One of Australia’s favourite bands, whose appeal reaches audiences of all ages and tastes, are making their way to QPAC to mark thirteen years since the release of their classic breakthrough album Eternal Nightcap.
The Whitlams, consisting of Tim Freedman on piano and vocals, Jak Housden on guitar, Warwick Hornby on bass guitar and Terepai Richmond on drums, will be joined by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for one memorable night of outstanding music.
Described by one reviewer as “an absolutely dripping tapestry of sometimes sweet and sometimes sombre tales that spill out so effortlessly and yet so poignantly”, Eternal Nightcap features some of The Whitlams most memorable tracks, including No Aphrodisiac, Charlie No.2 and You Sound Like Louis Burdett. Performed alongside other chart toppers, this will be an unforgettable evening of pure Whitlams bliss.
