Craft enthusiasts from right around Brisbane will be spoilt for choice, with two inspiring shows coming together under the one roof for the very first time!  The Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo & Convention and the Textile Art Festival will take over the Brisbane Exhibition Centre from June 11 – 13, 2011.

The Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo & Convention is the largest show of its kind in Australia with more than 30 classes daily and a variety of exhibitors set to showcase the latest trends in papercraft including digital scrapbooking.  The multi-faceted Textile Art Festival is a textile lover’s dream consisting of a convention, workshop programme, inspirational feature displays and a retail expo.

One of the stand out features displays at the Textile Art Festival will be a display of the finalists in the Art U Wear competition, which called on textile artists to create a piece of wearable art inspired by the theme ‘Circus Bersekus’, resulting in a truly unique exhibition.

So no matter whether your passion lies with scrapbooking and cardmaking or rather textile art, the June long weekend will be a feast of creative pleasures at the Australasian Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo & Convention and the Textile Art Festival.
