Celebrate QPAC’s Spirit of Christmas concerts in this special 25th anniversary event that features one of the finest line-up of artists since the concerts began in 1985.
Headlining this year’s concerts are music theatre star, Rachael Beck, acclaimed for her role in Beauty and the Beast and Dusty, and favourite operatic tenor, David Hobson, recipient of MO Award for Operatic Performer of the Year, the Sydney Critic’s Circle Award, and The Age Performing Arts Award for Best Performer in Opera. And as special guest compere we welcome much loved Australian performer and producer, Simon Gallaher.
Featuring entertaining conductor, Nicholas Milton leading the The Queensland Symphony Orchestra, this year’s Spirit of Christmas is an occasion to celebrate the year, experience the grandeur of the pipe organ, be inspired by the Christmas message and sing along with much-loved carols.
With a choral line-up featuring the Queensland Choir, QPAC Choir and children of the Brisbane Birralee Voices, we invite you to bring your voice, your laughter and your love of music too, and be part of this very merry musical event!
