Australia’s 21 year old national treasure My Friend The Chocolate Cake are back in Brisbane following a hugely successful, 90% sold out national tour.
Their appearance follows the release of Fiasco, which has received rave reviews and is being repressed within weeks of its release, and has seen the band adding 1000 fans to Facebook weekly.
This is the band with the strings, the piano, the big tunes and the plainly daft name that is unique among its peers and a sound that has been described as a “Beautiful, creative, sorrowful, masterful music by a bunch of lovely people.”
