A selection of Brisbane’s most renowned artists will come together for the 50/50 art exhibition silent auction at Juggler’s Art Space in February. Over 50 artists will offer their works for sale, with all funds raised benefiting the Emerging Artists Development Program (EADP).
The exhibition will allow the general public to purchase feature artworks starting at $50, through the exhibition’s silent auction format. Funds from the exhibition will be used to assist with funding for the EADP, including mentor programs, materials and supplies.
The Emerging Artists Development Program is a unique initiative designed to mentor at risk youth referred through pathways including Youth Justice, the Special Circumstances Court Diversion Program and Education Queensland.
Artists including Anthony Lister, Ghostpatrol and Miso, will donate their works to the 50/50 Silent Auction held on Friday 3 February 2012. It is free to attend the event, which will commence from 6pm at Jugglers Art Space in Fortitude Valley. For a full list of the artists, visit the 50/50 blog.
